In 2018 we searched for a health, wellness and resilience expert to deliver insight and guidance to participants on our UCD Smurfit Senior Leadership programme. This immersive residential programme is an in-depth personal and strategic journey with a select group of individuals focused on the C-Suite and Board level. Leadership requires a growth mindset and healthy practices to sustain peak performance. Dr Mark Rowe embraces this thinking marrying Eastern philosophy with Western science, often guiding participants to new level of self-awareness and commitment to wellbeing. Mark has delivered on our ‘In Conversation Series’ panel on Leadership and most recently, April 2020, sharing his thoughts and practices on ‘Managing Stress & Avoiding Burnout’ during and post Covid-19. His accessible approach and candor as a medical practitioner brings an abundance of knowledge and empathy to our participants, alumni and guests.
